IMPORTANT NOTICE
Audrey Carroll Sanctuary Closed Friday, March 20th
The Audrey Carroll Sanctuary will be closed all day Friday, March 20th for the MD Department of Natural Resources to do a controlled burn at the sanctuary. This burn will help restore the native grassland meadow and is part of our ongoing partnership with DNR to optimize the habitats at Audrey Carroll.
The sanctuary will re-open Saturday, March 21. Thank you.
Winter is Wonderful at Our Sanctuaries!
ASCM is the steward of two wildlife sanctuaries comprised of 270 acres in Frederick County. These oases of biodiversity are carefully managed to support our Mission — to protect and restore birds, other wildlife, and their habitats. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the beauty and serenity of being in nature.
