Our ability to care for the Chapter's two beautiful wildlife sanctuaries - Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary in Mount Airy and Fred Archibald Audubon Sanctuary in New Market - depends on the financial support of our community members. Donations also support the Chapter's educational outreach programs that take place at the sanctuaries, grants for creating nature gardens at selected schools and public libraries, and conservation research through the National Audubon Society's Important Bird Areas program.
