Join Naturalist Crystal and friends for a guided walk at our beautiful Frederick County wildlife sanctuary. We will focus on dragonflies and butterflies. Butterflies and dragonflies are very active this time of year and are easily observed at close range.
Based on Maryland Department of Health recommendations, face masks and social distancing will be required for everyone's safety.
Registration will be required for this nature walk and limited to the first 18 people who sign up, so please register quickly.
Meet at the sanctuary entrance at 9 a.m. The sanctuary entrance is on the east side of Boyer’s Mill Road, just one mile north of Rte. 144 in New Market. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, and bring a hat and sunscreen. No restroom facilities. The walk will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
