Saturday, August 21, 9 to 11 a.m., the Audubon Society of Central Maryland will hold a Bob Schaefer Nature Walk at the Fred J. Archibald Audubon Sanctuary. Birds are mostly quiet at this time of year, but butterflies and dragonflies are very active and are easily observed at close range.
People of all ages are welcome to explore the sanctuary with us! Please help us comply with public health guidelines: Maintain distance from those who are not in your party, and if you are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19, we ask that you wear a mask. Stay home if you are feeling ill.
No restroom facilities are available. The walk will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
The event is free, but donations are always welcome to help us maintain our beautiful sanctuaries and support all of our efforts to help us make a home for birds. Thank you!
