Saturday, March 21, 9 to 11 a.m.  Join us for a Bob Schaefer Nature Walk at the Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary near Mt. Airy. We’ll be looking for signs of spring, from swelling buds on trees to early spring migrant birds. Bluebirds will likely be laying claim to nest boxes. If winter weather has kept you indoors, here’s your chance to get out for a walk through meadows and forests.

Novice and experienced birders will enjoy this walk. Participants should dress for the weather and bring binoculars (some binoculars will be available to borrow).

People of all ages are welcome. Meet at 9 a.m. at the sanctuary entrance gate, 13030 Old Annapolis Road (just east of Detrick Road) Mt. Airy. No restroom facilities are available. The walk will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
