Saturday, March 19, 9 to 11 a.m.  Join us for a Bob Schaefer Nature Outing at the Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary near Mount Airy, sponsored by Audubon Society of Central Maryland. We’ll be looking for signs of spring, from swelling buds on trees to early spring migrant birds. Bluebirds will likely be laying claim to nest boxes. If winter weather has kept you indoors, here’s your chance to get out for a walk through meadows and forests.

People of all ages are welcome to explore the sanctuary with us! No restroom facilities are available. The walk will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.

The event is free, but donations are always welcome to help us maintain our beautiful sanctuaries and support all of our efforts to help us make a home for birds. Thank you!
