Saturday, February 19, 9 to 11 a.m. Join us at the Fred Archibald Audubon Sanctuary in New Market for a Bob Schaefer Series Outing, sponsored by Audubon Society of Central Maryland. We’ll see wintering birds and possibly some very early spring migrants. Buds will be swelling, waiting for warm weather. The sanctuary’s meadows and forests offer habitats for a range of bird species and other wildlife. 

People of all ages are welcome to explore the sanctuary with us! Please help us prevent the spread of COVID-19: We ask that you wear a facial covering if you are unvaccinated, maintain distance from others not in your party, and stay home if you are feeling ill.

No restroom facilities are available. The walk will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.

The event is free, but donations are always welcome to help us maintain our beautiful sanctuaries and support all of our efforts to help us make a home for birds. Thank you!
